"Refusing to act today is accepting much higher costs tomorrow — whether it be climate damage, energy dependence, or a loss of prosperity," warns Pierrette Rey, spokesperson for WWF Switzerland.
"If we want to succeed in the energy transition, we must also accept financing it. That requires clear and reliable rules capable of guaranteeing sufficient incentives for investment," explains Michael Frank, director of AES.
"Launched for reasons that are more electoral than ecological, the call for a climate fund that would absorb between 5 and 10 billion francs each year appears unnecessary, absurd, costly, centralizing and poorly conceived," says Pierre-Gabriel Bieri, policy manager at the Centre Patronal.
"Despite some observable slowdowns, the transformation of our energy systems will not stop, but will have to face many new challenges," explains Nicolas Charton, managing director at E-CUBE Strategy Consultants.

"Cutting useful subsidies while showing blind confidence in immature technologies are two sides of the same inertia," warns Jean-Yves Pidoux, the former director of the SIL.
"Shouldn't we, as societies, accept engaging in more honest discussions, less laden with emotions and idealism, on this question of nuclear power?" asks Daniella Gorbunova, a journalist at the Fédération des Entreprises Romandes Genève.
"Resource-hungry, these data centers have an environmental footprint that constitutes a crucial sustainability issue for both companies and actors in sustainable finance," recalls Luc Olivier, financial analyst (CFA) and portfolio manager at La Financière de l'Échiquier.
"In 2025, all of the batteries presented at SNEC Storage in Shanghai were LFP, a sign that this chemistry has established itself as the new standard," says Lionel Perret, head of the renewable energy sector at Planair.
"Beyond the widely discussed diplomatic deadlocks, COP30 revealed that the transition will no longer be played out in final communiqués, but in the ability of economies to measure, finance and deploy real transformations," explains Sarah Perreard, co-director of Earth Action.
"We call for clear market signals, a coherent framework and better valuation of renewable electricity injected into the grid," explain Cécile Theumann and Martial Bujard, co-directors of the ADER.
"Brazil wants to steer the negotiations toward 'implementation', in other words to move from commitments to action," stresses Pierrette Rey, spokesperson for WWF Switzerland.
