"We call for clear market signals, a coherent framework and better valuation of renewable electricity injected into the grid," explain Cécile Theumann and Martial Bujard, co-directors of the ADER.
"The real challenge lies in the global political situation and the mobilization of public funds that we would need elsewhere," explains Sabine Döbeli, Director General of Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF).
"We need to put sustainable finance back into its reality: a long-term approach, complex, sometimes frustrating, but indispensable," says Vincent Kaufmann, director of the Ethos Foundation.
"Investing sustainably is not only possible, but increasingly unavoidable. Sustainability is not a separate asset class: it is a prism for analyzing risks and opportunities," explains Sarah Perreard, co-director of Earth Action.
"Although established mechanisms are under pressure, collaboration does not disappear... it evolves. The task now is to broaden the conversation and include more voices," says Karen Hitschke, managing director of 'Building Bridges'.
"With growth of around 2,500% over the past ten years, the importance of sustainability in investments has therefore been considerably strengthened in Switzerland," explains Naomi Pfister, specialist adviser in sustainable finance for the Swiss Bankers Association (ASB).
"The Paris Agreement gave us a vision; we now need a financial system capable of making it a reality," explains Dominik Rothmund, senior advisor in sustainable finance for WWF Switzerland.
"With public instruments such as the Swiss Climate Fund, the Confederation wishes to position Switzerland as a global hub for sustainable finance," explains Charles-Henry Monchau, director of Investments and member of the Executive Committee of the Syz Group.
"If the label qualifying our profession could still change, the primary objective itself remains unchanged: to guarantee the durability of investments over time," explains Soliane Varlet, fund manager at Mirova (affiliated with Natixis IM).
